Recently, for the first time in this region, a Double Balloon Enteroscope is installed. Small intestine diseases and treatment like GI bleed, iron deficiency anaemia, obscure diarrhoea, intestinal obstruction, small bowel pathology or malignancy and others including diagnosis and interventional treatment of small bowel diseases is now possible at a very low cost.

The interventional Gastroenterology treatment provided includes Pre-operative endoscopy in `difficult to locate bleeding, Percutaneous drainage of liver, abscess, single or multiple, Percutaneous drainage of pancreatic cyst, Percutaneous trans-hepatic Billary drainage, Targetted biopsy of liver mass, pancreatic mass, abdominal lymph nodes, abdominal mass and Selective celiac and mesenteric arterial embolisation.
